Amazon Expands Its Presence in Mexico with Inauguration of Largest Last-Mile Fulfillment Center

Mexico City, September 14 (Reuters)

Amazon (AMZNO) has officially opened its largest last-mile fulfillment center in Mexico City, spanning 344,000 square feet. This expansion marks Amazon's commitment to providing customers in Mexico with low prices, a wide selection of products, and efficient delivery services.

As competition in the Mexican retail market intensifies, Amazon aims to maintain its competitive edge by offering a seamless and convenient shopping experience. With this new facility, Amazon enhances its logistics network and reduces delivery times, enabling customers to receive their orders more quickly and conveniently.

Additional Amazon Expansion in Mexico

In addition to the new fulfillment center in Mexico City, Amazon has recently taken other steps to expand its presence in the country. In October 2021, the company visited the community of Nueva Esperanza in Tijuana, where it plans to establish a future facility. Amazon has also opened a new fulfillment center in Guanajuato, Mexico.

These ongoing investments demonstrate Amazon's belief in the growth potential of the Mexican market and its commitment to providing customers with a superior shopping experience.
