Karl-Anthony Towns Injury Status

Forward/center Karl-Anthony Towns is currently out with a right calf strain. The injury occurred during the Timberwolves' game against the Golden State Warriors on March 10th. Towns underwent an MRI which confirmed the strain. He is expected to miss the next two to three weeks.
Towns is averaging 24.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game this season. He is a key part of the Timberwolves' offense and his absence will be a significant blow.
The Timberwolves are currently 30-32 and are in 10th place in the Western Conference. They are fighting for a playoff spot and Towns' injury could hurt their chances.
